Burial Grounds Information

The Burial Grounds


The civil parish of Great Oakley, which consists of the villages of Great Oakley and Stones Green, is provided with two adjacent burial grounds, known as the Old Burial Ground and the New Burial Ground. These Burial Grounds are maintained and administered by Great Oakley Parish Council.

The Parish Council has a published list of the fees which are charged for the granting of interment rights, granting of permission for interments and the erection of associated memorials within the New Burial Ground. The current list of charges may be seen and downloaded by clicking here.

The Churchyard - All Saints Church


The Parochial Church Council of the eclesiasticial parish of All Saints, which serves the villages of Great Oakley and Stones Green, maintains and manages the Churchyard which surrounds the local Parish Church.
